This Privacy Policy explains how Teric Baseball ("Teric," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Teric mobile application and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

Account information

When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive basic profile information from that provider (such as your name and email) in accordance with the permissions you grant.

Profile and training data

To build and adapt your training, we collect information you provide such as your position, age, experience level, goals, season dates, and any nutrition or workout preferences. As you use the Service we store your training plans, completed sessions, logged reps, and progress.

Purchase information

If you purchase a subscription, the transaction is processed by Apple or Google and managed through RevenueCat. We receive subscription status and related identifiers, but we do not collect or store your full payment card details.

Device and usage information

We collect limited technical information such as device type, operating system, app version, and a push notification token so we can deliver notifications and diagnose issues. If you contact support, we may include this diagnostic information in your message.

How we use your information

• Create and manage your account.
• Generate, personalize, and adapt your training plans.
• Track your sessions and progress over time.
• Process subscriptions and provide paid features.
• Send push notifications you have enabled (you can disable these at any time).
• Provide customer support and respond to your requests.
• Maintain the security and reliability of the Service.

Third-party services

We rely on trusted third-party providers to operate the Service. These providers process data on our behalf and are bound by their own privacy terms:

• Google Firebase (authentication, database, file storage, and push notifications) — Firebase Privacy.
• RevenueCat (subscription management) — RevenueCat Privacy.
• AI plan generation — to generate training plans we send non-identifying training parameters (such as position, age range, and goals) to a third-party AI provider. We do not send your name or contact information for this purpose.
• Apple & Google (sign-in and in-app purchases), subject to their respective privacy policies.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers described above, when required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Teric and its users. If you use Teric as part of a team, your coach may see training plans and progress associated with your participation on that team.

Data retention and deletion

We retain your information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from within the app, which removes your profile and associated training data from our systems. You may also email us to request deletion. Some information may be retained where required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and limit access to it.

Children's privacy

Teric is designed for athletes of varying ages, including youth players. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us information without your consent, please contact us and we will delete it. Where a youth athlete uses Teric, we encourage a parent, guardian, or coach to set up and supervise the account.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, use the account controls in the app or contact us using the details below.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the app.
