Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Teric LLC ("Teric," "we," "us") handles the health-related information a baseball training app collects. It supplements our Privacy Policy, which describes everything else, and it is written to meet the Washington My Health My Data Act and similar state laws. Nothing here changes what we do — it describes it in the terms those laws use.

What health-related information we collect

• Height and weight, entered during setup and editable in Settings.
• An injury you tell us you are working around (for example shoulder, elbow or lower body), if you choose to enter one in Settings.
• Post-session feedback, including whether something hurt during a session.
• Training measurements you log: reps, weights lifted, sprint times and throwing or exit velocity.

We do not collect medical records, diagnoses, medication information, biometric identifiers, or precise location, and we do not infer health information from anything other than what you enter.

Where it comes from

From you (or, for a player under 13, from the parent or guardian who manages the account), entered in the app or in the sign-up quiz on this website.

Why we collect it

• To build, scale and adapt your training plan.
• To show your progress back to you and, if you are on a team and have allowed team sharing, to your coach.
• To notify your coach when you report pain after a session, so they can check in. Reporting pain is not medical care and Teric does not monitor your reports.

We do not use health-related information for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with anyone for their own purposes.

Who can see it

• Tericand the service providers that store and process it on our behalf: Google Firebase (database and storage) and, for players 13 and older, Anthropic (which receives your age, position, experience, goals and season with your plan's structure for review — never your name, email or measurements). Our Privacy Policy lists every provider.
• Your coach, if you join a team: your height, weight, logged weights and test numbers, and how sessions felt, including pain reports. For a player under 13 this happens only if the parent allowed team sharing when they gave consent.
• Teammates see your name, photo and position — not your health-related information.

How long we keep it

For as long as your account is active, on the schedule described in our Privacy Policy. Deleting your account deletes it. You can change or clear the injury field in Settings at any time.

Your rights

You can see everything we hold (Profile → Privacy & data → Export my data sends it to you as spreadsheet files), correct it in Settings, withdraw from team sharing by leaving the team, and delete it by deleting your account. You can also email support@tericbaseball.com from the address on the account to exercise any of these rights; we will confirm the request from that address before acting, respond within 45 days, and never treat you differently for asking. If we decline a request, you can appeal by replying to our response, and we will explain our decision in writing.
